  • Write your name and contact details at the beginning of the letter.
  • Write the name of the mover and their address after your own address.
  • Indicate the bill of lading number.
  • Write the departure destination (that is the original shipment destination)
    the DOT number and MC number of the mover.
  • Give details of your complaints.
  • You can also send a copy of your complaint to the professional association to which the mover belongs to. The body will help to ensure that you are adequately compensated by the mover.
  • If you are complaining against unprofessional behaviour from any staff of the mover, it is important that you find out the name of the staff in question. Mentioning the person’s name is the only way the company will investigate on the issue and deal appropriately with the person concerned.
